15 Easy Steps To Bottling
Your Beer |
| 1) Put 50 clean bar bottles into the dishwasher with no
dirty dishes |
| 2) Add soap & run 2 minutes then stop & add 1/4
cup bleach |
| 3) Run a complete normal cycle |
| 4) Fill 2 small pans with 1 cup water & put on the
stove |
| 5) Put 50 caps in 1 pan & turn on low heat...Do Not
Boil! |
| 6) Put 5 oz. priming sugar in 2nd pan, bring to a boil
then shut off |
| 7) Sanitize bottling bucket, racking cane, siphon hose
and hydrometer |
| 8) Siphon sanitizer out of bucket and onto the lid of
the bucket |
| 9) Rinse everything at least 3 times & place on
sanitized lid |
| 10) Add dissolved priming sugar mixture to bucket |
| 11) Siphon beer into bucket & put hydrometer into
beer |
| 12) Read specific gravity & place lid on top of
bucket |
| 13) Take bottles out of dishwasher to cool |
| 14) Tilt bottles slightly & fill to 1" below
top...Do Not Splash! |
| 15) Place cap on bottle and cap....49 more and you're
done!
