TAP-A-DRAFT® is a patented, easy to use, beverage dispensing system that includes a reusable 6-liter bottle and a screw-on tap. The bottles’ convenient size (17" long by 6 1/4" wide) allows the bottle to fit on most refrigerator shelves - and you don't have to throw out the food, either! The injector also works with 3 liter soda pop bottles! TAP-A-DRAFT® uses standard disposable 8-gram CO2 cartridges to regulate the pressure inside the 6-liter bottle, keeping beverages carbonated. As the beverage is dispensed, the cartridges replace the vacant space in the bottle with CO2. This regulated pressure allows the bottle contents to flow effortlessly from the easy-to-use tap. Two 8-gram CO2 cartridges are capable of dispensing 6 liters (1.6 gallons) using the TAP-A-DRAFT® system. The valve has built-in regulators that maintain a constant pressure of 15 psi for a nice, even dispense. If for any reason, the pressure in the bottle exceeds 60 psi, a safety valve will open and relieve the pressure in the bottle. Simply fill the six liter bottles (3 of these bottles should nicely take care of a five gallon batch). Prime two of them by measuring in two rounded tablespoons of sugar into the bottom of each one, then syphoning the beer. Seal with the caps provided. These should carbonate in a couple of weeks, just like bottled homebrew. The third bottle is immediately sealed with the injector assembly and should then be chilled so it can be carbonated with CO2 cartridges. Be sure to turn the bottle and injector on its side before screwing in the CO2 cartridges. The beer should be carbonated within a few days and be ready to dispense (you may need a couple more cartridges to dispense the contents of the bottle). The beer will then stay carbonated for weeks, even while glasses of beer are drawn from the bottle with the easy-to-use tap. When the first bottle begins to run low, just refrigerate one of the naturally carbonated bottles. You’ll be ready to go with the bottle simply by replacing the cap with the injector, and screwing two more CO2 cartridges into place.

For an exceptionally creamy dispense, replace one of the CO2 bulbs with a nitrogen cartridge! Simply screw in the one CO2 bulb first, then screw in the nitrogen cartridge.*
